ARC died a horrible death after they started Dia.Now Dia - never got it right - and they’re crashing and burning. Sad really. I guess Surf is going along with them. Comet, so far, is the only one that got it right … Even Atlas has glitches. But Comet, for some reason, hates side panels for browsing. Enter Side Space. AWESOME!! Side Panels!! AI Organization!! It’s a literal dream come true.Thanks…from an ARC Refugee.

I thought it would be nice to be able to scroll between spaces by scrolling left-right, while the mouse is over the tabs panel. It would be really convenient when you are using touchpad. For mouse scrolling with its wheel + shift is also gonna be nice.

Implement a feature to collapse the vertical tab manager into a smaller vertical bar that displays only the space icons. When the user moves the mouse over this smaller vertical bar, it should automatically expand to show the full tab manager, with the space corresponding to the hovered icon.Benefits:<ul><li>Space Efficiency: Saves screen space by minimizing the tab manager when not in use.</li><li>Quick Access: Allows users to quickly access and switch between tabs by hovering over the icons.</li><li>Improved Navigation: Enhances user experience by providing a seamless transition between collapsed and expanded states.</li></ul>

Seems like the sidebar can only be shown or hidden by using a keyboard stortcut. It would be great if it could show if hidden by hovering over the left or right browser edge.

Now that Arc is dead, there is a lot of advanced users that found Arc features invaluable for our work. Side Space is the right answer, no need to use a specific browser, just use your favorite browser and customize it like Arc. The problem is that it is a version 1.0 app and needs lots of work. I can contribute by alpha/beta testing and providing lots of ideas and input. Contact me if I can be of help to the project.

A lot of bugs and missing features, but a bright future if done right.

It would be great if we’re able to drag and change to the width. The sidebar covers a bit too much of my screen for my liking.

Hello,in upper part, there is “New Tab“ button, on the bottom toolbar, there is “+“ menu where i can click and then choose New Chat/Space/Tab.Thats fine.But can on the bottom part be a quicker solution how to open tab with mouse? At least via some settings switcher?E.g.:<ul><li>doubleclick on the free space after the last tab → open new tab</li><li>having “New tab“ on the bottom below the last tab → with this solution the upper “New tab“ button can disappear → and all my tabs will move up → i can fit there more tabs on the screen.<ul><li>it can be also on the bottom toolbar - now I need there two clicks - clicking”+” sign and then choose from the menu - quicker solution without hiding “new tab” functionality in the menu would be really handy. There is no way to unpin a tab using Side Space, I guess it is because the right click menu is showing options for image and not the right menu for pinned tabs. Issue: In Dia Browser, clicking the Side Space icon does nothing—no sidebar/UI appears and tabs aren’t detected. In Chrome, it works normally.Steps: Dia → install from Chrome Web Store → pin/click extension → no UI.Expected: Same behavior as Chrome (open panel, show/manage current tabs).

IMO, Arc's command-s is more convenient than command-shift-p since it can be typed with one hand while using a mouse (at least for right-handed users).
